Animation is the perfect medium to tell your wackiest stories… Unbound by gravity, all we must worry about is the limits of our imagination! In this course, we seek to understand what makes animation such a unique medium. Guided by Disney’s 12 Principles of Animation, we will experiment with frame-by-frame techniques, such as flipbooks, paper-cutouts, and live-action animation (pixilation). By the end of this course, children will be primed to create their own work with an understanding of how they can use this medium to reach the heights of their imagination.


Beginners and advanced animators alike are sure to benefit as this is a class all about experimentation as we push animation (and our imaginations) to the limit and discover what makes it unlike any other medium.
