Adapting elements of the Suzuki philosophy of teaching, combined with music and elements from other methods, this fun course is designed for students ages 4 all the way to teens. By combining students of similar ages and grades in small groups, children will be exposed to all the basics of the wonderful world of violin: how it works, how to take care of it, how to hold and use it well,... and how to play it beautifully, both individually and as part of a group!! Parental attendance is strongly encouraged. Maximum group size would be 6. per class. Repertoire will include previously published, well established selections of the classical music world as well as modern music.
In my class students will be able to learn at their own pace and according to their needs, while also learning how to collaborate musically and personally with others. The class will be complimented with preparing for at least 3 performances a year for families and friends.
Students will need their own instrument- after consulting with me for the best, affordable options in the market according to age and size.
