Learning to make jewelry on even the most basic level is exercising so many skills - both physical and mental. Young fingers develop dexterity and hand eye coordination. Young minds learn so many things about themselves and their abilities and the world around them. They will learn about color, shape, form and texture on a technical level. They will begin to learn what they like and don't like and what they are saying to the world about themselves by how they adorn themselves. We will work with many different materials including beads, wire, different types of cord and stringing materials, some metals, ribbons, found objects and clay to name a few.
