Banish the “Back to School Blues” with a set of fun and hands-on activities designed to promote a positive mindset. Children will decorate canvas pencil bags and bookmarks to spark creativity, play improv theater games to practice making new friends, and wrap up the day with mindful movement and breathing techniques that they can incorporate during the busy school year. Start off on the right foot and let’s have a great year!

Note: This activities within this workshop can be modified to work for any age group, from grade school to high school.

The instructor, Liz Livingston, is an RYT certified yoga and mindfulness practitioner with an MFA in Theater. She has a large "toolkit" of mindfulness and theater games that promote a empathy, teamwork, and leadership skills.
